2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

When you visit the site, technical details are logged: date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, browser, operating system and referring page. STRATO stores IP addresses in anonymised form only. The logs serve the secure and stable operation of the site and are available for at most six weeks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Encryption

The site is delivered exclusively via encrypted HTTPS, including form entries and uploaded files.

4. Enquiry form, email and phone

When you contact us via the form, by email or by phone, we process your details (name, company, email, phone, message and uploaded files) to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, prepare a quote. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about orders, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Form data is sent to us by email and is not stored on the web server. We delete enquiries once they are settled, unless statutory retention periods apply (generally 6 years for business correspondence and quotes, 8 to 10 years for accounting records).

5. Applications

We use application documents only for the application process (Section 26 BDSG, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If no employment follows, we delete them no later than six months after the process ends.

6. OpenStreetMap map

On the contact page we first show only a preview image. Map tiles are loaded from the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom, only after you click “Load map”. Your IP address and technical browser details are then transmitted to the Foundation. The legal basis is your consent given by the click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The link “Plan route with OpenStreetMap” only opens openstreetmap.org when you click it.

7. Fonts and libraries

All fonts and the Leaflet map library are hosted on our own server. A normal page visit makes no connection to third parties.

8. Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. An informal message to the address above is sufficient.

You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Ours is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
